The Panou Fund
Purpose
Individual action matters.
I started The Panou Fund on a simple conviction: individual action matters. Government programs and large institutions have their place, but the problems we face are ultimately answered by individuals who choose, freely and at their own expense, to do something about them.
The fund’s work today runs through three initiatives. Philoptochos, meaning “friend of the poor,” because charity is a privilege each of us can carry personally, person to person. Ukraine, because a free people under attack deserves the support of everyone who cares about democracy, the rule of law, and peace in Europe. Liberty, because human beings are better off when they are free and because free markets remain the greatest engine of prosperity ever known.
I’ve taken care of the administrative work so that giving through the fund is simple, and I commit my time to finding the organizations where contributions can make a real impact. What the fund needs now are partners: people moved by the same convictions. I’m looking for people who see what I see in any of these three initiatives and want to be part of the solution. If that’s you, even if we’ve never met, I’d like to talk about how we might work together.
